We are so glad you are here. What does the PTA do exactly?
Mission and Overview: The PTA raises money in numerous ways throughout the academic school year. The funds are used to support our mission of acting as an advocate for education, health, safety, and success for all Apex Middle School students while building strong families and a supportive community. We also support the NPTA mission to make every child's potantial a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
How do we raise money? In addition to membership, we host Spirit Nights at local restaurants, sell dance and dodgeball tickets, and sell spirit wear, which allows students to show their pride in their school. We also accept corporate donations and ‘give back’ funds from merchants when our AMS families buy their merchandise.
With more funding, we will be able to accomplish even more for our students, parents, and staff!

Joining the PTA means contributing a nominal fee to the operating costs of the Apex Middle School chapter of the NCPTA. Any other commitment is up to you! Your financial support helps us to help the entire AMS community. Every year, we aim for 100% of our AMS families to become members. Please consider joining today. Volunteering is not necessary to be a member.
